Picpoul is an old Languedoc grape variety and it has grown on the banks of Lake Thau. This wine is both gentle and refreshing with notes of Mediterranean white peach, apricot kernel and zesty lime peel culminating in a silky mouth-feel and crisp, vibrant acidity.

Average age of their vines is 30 years, which means extra concentration in the grapes which imparts richness and elegance. Vines are grown on clay and limestone, which explains the characteristic; flinty minerality in the wines. Great as an aperitif, this wine also pairs well with fish, shellfish and seafood, as well as goat’s cheese. Our in- house favourite.

The Bernard family have been established farmers in Orange since the middle of the 17th Century and the beautiful Château followed several years later. The family’s Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre vines used for their Châteauneuf-du- Pape are over 100 years old and produce perfectly concentrated, spicy, rich wines.
